A puppy deserves a good start
A pedigree documents ancestry according to official records, but it does not tell you about the puppy's health or breeding conditions. When choosing a puppy, ask about its parents, health tests, and care of the litter.
This site is in development; some data are sample data.

It shows puppy buyers listings and catalog records for kennels. It helps them check which details apply to a particular puppy. It also helps dog owners understand the world of breeding.
Why Chovka was created
People looking for a puppy find anonymous listings. Responsible breeders have nowhere to show their work. Chovka brings them together.
A pedigree documents ancestry according to official records, but it does not tell you about the puppy's health or breeding conditions. When choosing a puppy, ask about its parents, health tests, and care of the litter.
Information about a kennel, its litters, and dog show results may be spread across several public sources. The catalog brings it together in one place to help you find your way.
Chovka links listings to kennel records. Information from public sources can help you find your way, but you should still check the specific litter and breeder.
For puppy buyers
Choose a breed and location to browse published offers and kennel records. Check a specific puppy's pedigree, breeding conditions, and current availability with the breeder.
For kennels, we show signs of activity found in public sources. This is only an estimate; it does not confirm that a kennel is currently breeding or offering puppies. Check current details directly with the kennel.

Chovka helps buyers browse listings and kennel records. Check details about pedigree, activity and availability with the kennel for the specific puppy. It also offers a breed catalog, dog search and a guide to choosing a puppy.
When choosing a puppy, you can check its ancestry, the identity of its parents, health tests, and breeding conditions. A pedigree documents a particular dog's ancestry, but does not guarantee its health or the quality of its breeding. A listing alone does not verify these details; ask the breeder directly.
A pedigree (PP) is an official document for a puppy issued through the Czech Kennel Union (ČMKU) system. It confirms the dog's breed and documented ancestry across several generations. It documents ancestry, but does not establish the quality of breeding, health, temperament, or future behavior.
The catalog estimates kennel activity from public sources, such as mentions of a litter, dog show results, or an available website. This does not mean the kennel is currently breeding or has puppies available. Check current details directly with the kennel.
In Listings, choose a breed and region to browse published offers. Confirm availability and timing directly with the breeder. If there are no offers, you can browse kennels for that breed on the map; their activity and distance are approximate.
When you send an inquiry through Chovka, you share your email address and message with the selected breeder. The confirmation “Message accepted for delivery” means the system has received your request; it does not guarantee delivery, that the message will be read, or a reply.
You can find information about registration and profile management in My breeder area. Its rules set out the current options for publishing a listing.
The location is approximate, not the breeder's address. For some kennels, it's based on a publicly listed part of the city; for others, on the town or village. We don't show street names or house numbers. Distances are approximate, so arrange the meeting place directly with the breeder.
You can edit details in a profile you manage through the breeder area. Catalog records come from public sources and may be out of date; check current details with the kennel.
Sources for urban locations: ČÚZK, RÚIAN (1 October 2026), CC BY 4.0. We estimated location centers from geographic areas; kennel markers are deliberately offset and do not show their official coordinates.
What we are planning next
Choose a breed and area, and we will let you know when a kennel posts a new litter.
We're gradually linking each kennel's stud dogs, litters and dog show results so you can see its breeding history in one place.
We're reaching out to kennels and clubs so buyers can find as many responsible breeders as possible here.
